Professor Xia Enlan graduated from Northwest Medical College in 1955 and is the current Director of Hysteroscopy Center of Fuxing Hospital, Capital Medical University, Founder of hysteroscopy in China. She has made many innovations in the field of gynecological endoscopy in cooperation with her team.
She has published 254 articles and edited 5 professional reference books in both Chinese and English, including Gynecological Endoscopy. Her clinical research has won 30 National and Beijing awards, one of which won the second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2004. In 2017, she was honored as the "Founder of the world hysteroscope" at the first Global Conference on hysteroscopy.
