The Society for Gynaecological Minimally Invasive Surgery Singapore (SGMIS) is a professional organization dedicated to promoting and advancing the practice of minimally invasive gynaecologic surgery. Minimally invasive surgery is now established as the standard of care in many gynaecologic surgeries. New clinical evidence, techniques and instruments continue to evolve. Today, minimally invasive surgery takes the form of laparoscopic surgeries, hysteroscopic surgeries, robotic surgeries, vNOTES and non-invasive therapies like HIFU, radiofrequency ablation and laser assisted surgeries.
